Albion High graduate Paige Golden is enjoying a record setting senior season for the Keuka College volleyball team.

Golden, who earlier this season became Keuka’s career leader in digs, this past week set a new school record for career spiking kills.

Golden, a three sport star in volleyball, basketball and softball during her scholastic days at Albion High, registered 20 kills in a four set victory over Wells College to increase her career kill total to a school record 1,038.

She had 20 kills in the match, the fifth time this year she has had 20 or more in a contest, to help Keuka boost its season record to 20-6.

Her coach, Ben Guilano calls her “the most dynamic athlete he’s ever seen.”

A two-time All-NEAC honoree, she had 372 kills and 468 digs in her junior year to help lead Keuka to a 24-8 record.

A team co-captain for the second year in a row, Golden is a pre-med major.
