Albion grad playing college soccer in Rome

Albion High graduate Alonzo Figueroa-Fuentes is continuing is soccer career in college at the Rome City Institute in Rome, Italy.
Figueroa-Fuentes is playing for the Gladiators team in the Rome City Institute’s Empire Collegiate League.
The first player selected in the Empire Collegiate League’s freshmen draft, Figueroa-Fuentes is enjoying a successful first season as his Gladiator team had a big 3-1 win over the Legionarius on Monday.
During his scholastic days at Albion, Figueroa-Fuentes earned first team Niagara-Orleans All-League honors his senior year.
