Albion golfers post win over Roy-Hart
Staying in the thick of the title chase, Albion defeated Roy-Hart 238-277 in a Niagara-Orleans League golf match this afternoon at Shelridge.
The victory boosts Albion’s record to 8-1 and keeps the Purple Eagles within a match of undefeated (10-0) front-running Medina.
Nick Penna took medalist honors with a 41 for Albion.
The Purple Eagles balanced scoring also had Patrick Ricker with a 45, Victor Benjovsky 46 and Nick Perry and Andrew Caldwell 49.
Murphy Lang shot 43 and Madigan Lang 46 for Roy-Hart, which slips to 1-7-1.
