Albion girls win to even N-O soccer record
Regaining the .500 mark, Albion edged past host Newfane 1-0 this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League girls soccer game.
Claire Squicciarini scored the lone goal in the second half as Albion improves to 3-3 in N-O action.
Sydney Mulka made 8 saves to earn the shutout in goal.
In the other N-O contests Roy-Hart (5-1) trimmed Akron (2-3-1) 4-3 and front-running Wilson (6-0) blanked Barker (0-6) 4-0.
Ava Owens scored the game winning goal for Roy-Hart snapping a 3-3 tie.
Akron had taken 3-2 lead on a goal by Kara Sequin.
Roy-Hart rallied into a 3-3 tie on Kara Choate’s third goal of the afternoon.
