Albion girls will have busy first week

It will be a busy three game season opening week as the Albion girls basketball team preps for the upcoming Niagara-Orleans League campaign.

Albion will open the season by hosting Byron-Bergen on Monday December 2 and then participate in the Kendall Tournament on Thursday December 5 and Saturday December 7. The Purple Eagles will face Kendall in the opening round.

New Coach Wil Prince’s Purple Eagles are led by the veteran quartet of seniors Kenzi Snook, Julia Knight and Paige Newton along with junior Leah Pawlak.

Albion’s graduation losses included first team N-O All-League honoree Madison Hughson who is now playing for Genesee Community College.

The Purple Eagles N-O opener will be December 13 at home against Newfane.
