Albion girls top Barker for first N-O win
Albion earned its first Niagara-Orleans girls basketball win of the young season by downing host Barker 50-30 this evening.
Julia Knight scored 14 and Kenzi Snook 10 to lead the way for the Purple Eagles as Cami London chipped in with 7, Aaliyah Jones 6, Melia Prince 5 and Madison Muckle and Paige Newton 4 each.
Hailey Dodge scored 11 and Jordyn Kinne 9 to pace Barker.
Albion is now 1-2 and Barker 0-3 in N-O action.
Defending champion Wilson likewise picked up its first N-O win by besting rival Newfane 37-18.
Wilson is now 1-2 and Newfane 2-1.
