Albion girls roll to U19 Division soccer win
Getting goal production from five different players, Albion rolled to a 7-1 victory over host Avon Tuesday in a Rochester District Youth Soccer League girls U19 Division game.
Abby Scanlan scored three goals for Albion as Nicolina Creasey, Olivia Krenning, Halee Passarell and Kenzi Hapeman each had one.
Albion, which is now 2-0, blanked LeRoy 2-0 in the season opener.
In a girls U16 Division game Monday Albion lost 2-0 to Rush-Henrietta.
Medina/Lyndonville U17 bows
Host West Seneca scored two goals in the final 10 minutes to down Medina/Lyndonville United 3-1 Wednesday in a Buffalo and Western New York Youth Soccer League boys U17 Division game.
The game was tied 1-1 at the half as Cole Seefeldt scored on a penalty kick for M-L United.
