Albion girls post win over host Medina

Everyone contributed to the point production as Albion downed host Medina 73-25 in a Niagara-Orleans League girls basketball make-up game this evening.

Madison Hughson scored 19, Sydney Mulka 17, Abby Scanlan 11, Olivia Krenning 9, Kenzie Snook 7, Aurora Serafin 5, Samantha Basinait 3 and Skoi Sanders 2 for Albion which led 35-7 at the half.

Rylee VanNostrand scored 10, Lily Carpenter 8, Hilda Santiago-Bautista 4, Aries McMurray 2 and Iyla Lilleby 1 for Medina.

Albion is now 3-3 and Medina 1-7 in N-O action.

The two teams will meet again at Albion at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

In the other N-O game, Wilson (8-0) defeated Barker (1-6) 54-9.
