Albion girls eye rebound track season
Photo by Cheryl Wertman – Leading the Albion girls into the up coming Niagara-Orleans League track season will be this veteran trio of Julia Button, Willow Gaines and Madison LeBaron.
Looking to improve upon last year’s 2-4 record, Albion will host Akron in the Niagara-Orleans League girls track opener next Tuesday (April 22) at 4:30 p.m.
Leading the Purple Eagles will be the veteran group of seniors Madison LeBaron (Long Jump, Triple Jump) and Willow Gaines (Pole Vault); juniors Julia Button (Long Jump, Triple Jump), Jordan Simmons (4th in High Jump) and Mia Standish (4th in 100 Hurdles and 400 Hurdles) and sophomore Isabella Truelson (3rd in 100 Hurdles).
