Albion girls down Medina for first N-O win

Snapping a season opening four league game losing streak, Albion blanked rival Medina 3-0 in a Niagara-Orleans girls soccer game at Vets Park this evening.

Albion took a 1-0 lead in the first half on a goal by Cami London.

Second half goals by London and Sophia Albanese then put a lock on the victory for the Purple Eagles.

The loss drops Medina to 0-4 in N-O action.

Roy-Hart 4, Newfane 1
Kaitlin Mettler scored 3 goals, all off assists from Sophia Allee, to lead Roy-Hart to a 4-1 N-O win over Newfane.

Maria Trombley scored the other Roy-Hart goal off an assist from Macie Sidor.

Roy-Hart improves to 3-0 and Newfane slips to 2-2 in N-O competition.

Wilson 4, Akron 0
Wilson improved to 4-0 with a 4-0 victory over Akron as Addison Elia had 3 goals, Peyton McInnis 1 and Leah Cloy 2 assists.

Akron is now 2-2.

Albion’s Cami London brings the ball up field as Medina’s Aurora Owczarczak (8) and Emily Chambers (24) come in to defend.
