Albion girls down Barker to go to 2-2

Albion downed visiting Barker 36-29 this evening to regain the .500 mark at 2-2 in Niagara-Orleans League girls basketball action.

Honesty Little scored 12, Aly Knaak 7 and Sydney Mulka 6 for Albion which led 19-12 at the half. Little scored six in the final period to help the Purple Eagles lock up the win.

Sydnie Luckman scored 9 for Barker which is now 1-4.

Akron 66, Roy-Hart 61

Akron improved to 3-1 by trimming Roy-Hart 66-61 as Jessee Jonathan scored a game high 22.

Ava Owens scoed 18 and Shelby Wolf 15 for Roy-Hart which is now 1-2.

The game was deadlocked at 27-27 at the half and Akron held a narrow 49-44 lead at the three-quarter mark.
