Albion girls best Roy-Hart in overtime; Barker downs Medina for first N-O win

Albion outscored visiting Roy-Hart 8-0 in the overtime period to claim a 34-26 Niagara-Orleans League girls basketball victory this evening.

Madison Hughson and Kenzi Snook each scored 3 points in the overtime to key the Purple Eagles win.

Hughson finished with 15 as Adella Dukes led Roy-Hart with 10.

The contest was tied 26-26 at the end of regulation time.

Albion finishes the N-O season at 6-6 while Roy-Hart is now at 4-7.

Barker 44, Medina 39
Snapping a season long 10 game N-O losing streak Barker downed visiting Medina 44-39.

Trailing 31-26, Barker rallied to outscore Medina 18-8 in the final period to claim the win. Rachel Sutter scored 6 as Cole Carnes and Michayla Greene each tallied 5 to key that uprising.

Sutter finished with 16 and Greene 11.

Honesty Hill scored 13 and Alexa Demmer 11 to pace Medina.
