Albion girls basketball returns good nucleus
Photo by Cheryl Wertman – Led by a group of seven returnees, Albion will begin tuning up for the Niagara-Orleans League girls basketball season by host Attica on Thursday and visiting Lyndonville on December 6 for non league contests. The Purple Eagles veterans include, in front, sophomore Kenzi Snook and juniors Alison Gibson and Madissn Hughson. In back are seniors Skoi Sanders, Samantha Basinait and Olivia Krenning and sophomore Paige Newton. Albion went 8-4 in N-O competition last season. The Purple Eagles graduation losses included N-O first team selection and Player of the Year Abby Scanlan along with Sydney Mulka and Aurora Serafin.
