Albion football squad faces two game week

Returning to action after a 10 day Covid quarantine, the Albion varsity football team is facing a busy two game week.

The Purple Eagles will visit Burgard at 7 p.m. Tuesday and then host Cheektowaga at 7 p.m. Saturday in a pair of B North Division contests.

Albion is currently 2-0 in the division and 3-0 overall while Burgard is 1-2, 2-2 and Cheektowaga 1=1, 1-3.

Roy-Hart/Barker/Lyndonville likewise faces a pair of football games this week as the Silverbacks visit Lew-Port at 7 p.m. Tuesday in a B North contest and then host Pioneer at 7 p.m. Saturday in an interdivisional game.

Medina will continue defense of its C North title by visiting Wilson at 7 p.m. Friday. The Mustangs are 2-0 in the division and 4-0 overall while the Lakemen are 2-1, 3-2.
