ALBION – Maggie, a purebred boxer, has been missing since 5:15 Monday morning.

“She never runs off,” Rachel Fisken said about the dog.

“We are desperate and besides ourselves. She is my son’s best friend. I’m afraid she was taken and someone may try to sell her.”

The family lives on Ingersoll Street in Albion. The Fiskens have reached out to police, animal shelters and veterinarians. So far they haven’t had any success in finding the dog.

Fisken worries the dog may have been taken.

“She is the sweetest dog, but she is on daily medication that she needs!” Fisken said in a Facebook post.

Maggie is spayed, and 7 years old. The family is offering a cash reward for her safe return.

Anyone with information on Maggie can call Fisken at (585) 281-8206.
