Albion duo earns All-State volleyball honors
N-O League also has six players on All-WNY squad
Niagara-Orleans League champion Albion has placed two players, senior Kelsee Soule and junior Chanyce Powell, on the third team of the Class B All-State volleyball squad.
Soule, a five year varsity starter, had 217 spiking kills, 72 service aces 14 blocks and 298 digs this past season.
Powell, a three year varsity starter, had 266 kills, 74 aces, 69 blocks and 117 digs.
Soule has also earned first team All-Western New York small schools honors while Powell and Albion senior Meghan Hurley have both been named to the second team.
Three other N-O players have also been named to the All-WNY second team including Medina junior Emily Kams, Roy-Hart junior Bea Bacon and Akron junior Taydem Printup.
Hurley had 118 kills, 95 aces, and 336 assists on the season while Kams had 271 assists and 55 aces, Bacon 119 service points, 24 aces, 67 kills and 26 blocks and Printup 112 digs, 85 kills and 45 aces.
