Albion church will have 5K run/walk on Sept. 25
ALBION – The Light of Victory Church on Brown Street in Albion is planning a 5-kilometer walk-a-thon or run on Sept. 25 with proceeds going towards holiday food baskets.
The church has organized the 5K for 10 years. The course is along the canal towpath, starting near Brown Street and going east towards Keitel Road and then back.
People can register the day or the event at 8:30 a.m. with the cost $25. The fee is $20 if people pre-register by sending a check to Light of Victory Church, 47 Brown St., Albion, 14411. Mark the check for the 5K and attention Cyndi Mardino, the event organizer.
