Albion cagers to play tonight

Albion will host CSAT at 7 this evening in a Niagara-Orleans League girls varsity basketball game.

Albion is currently 6-3 and CSAT 4-5 in N-O action.

The Albion boys squad will visit defending champion CSAT at 6 this evening.

The Purple Eagles bring a 4-5 N-O record into the contest while the host Eagles are 4-4.

Albion Athletic Director Randy Knaak stated this morning that since CSAT was open today and Albion was in a two hour delay for Regents exams that the contests were able to be played this evening.

The rest of today’s N-O slate, which was postponed due to schools being closed by frigid weather conditions, are scheduled to be made up on Wednesday. Those contests include Newfane at Medina, Akron at Roy-Hart and Barker at Wilson in boys basketball as well as Medina at Newfane, Roy-Hart at Akron and Wilson at Barker in girls basketball.
