Albion wins boys U17 soccer opener
Coming from behind in the second half, the Albion boys U17 team defeated visiting Gananda 4-2 Tuesday evening in the Rochester District Soccer League season opener.
Trailing 2-1 at the half, Albion used a 3-0 second half scoring surge to claim the victory.
Connor McQuillan scored 2 goals during that decisive stretch off assists from Noah Goudreau and Kendyll Hadick. Hadick netted the other goal.
Gananda had grabbed leads of 1-0 and 2-1 in the first half.
Nate Scanlan scored Albion’s lone goal of the half which knotted the contest at 1-1.
