4-0 Albion boys top Newfane in N-O track

Continuing a very successful season long road trip, Albion downed Newfane 85-56 this afternoon to improve to 4-0 in Niagara-Orleans League boys track competition.

Landon Chaffee was a double winner in the 1600 and 3200 for Albion whose home track is being rebuilt as part of the new turf installation project on the Purple Eagles football field.

Ben Dickinson was a triple winner in the 400, Triple Jump and High Jump for Newfane which slips to 1-2.

Newfane won the girls’s meet 99-38 as Cat Ersing doubled in the 200 and 400 and Ainsley DeBaise in the 100 Hurdles and Long Jump.

The Wilson boys improved to 3-0 with a 114 1/2-26 1/2 win over Akron as Logan Wolfe doubles in the 100 and High Jump, JayDen Ruble in the 1600 and 3200 and Cash Smith in the 110 Hurdles and 400.

Akron downed Wilson in the girls’ meet 91-50 to improve to 3-0.
