Albion boys swim past Attica in opener

Albion defeated host Attica 63-31 this evening in a non league season opening boys swim meet.

Chase Froman won both the 200 Freestyle and 500 Free and Ryan Krenning the 50 Free and 100 Free to lead the way for the Purple Eagles.

Attica downed Albion in the girls meet 60-31.

Medina was swept in a non league opener at HAC bowing 52-42 in the boys’ meet and 57-36 in the girls’ competition.

Hunter Heil was a double winner for the Medina boys in the 50 Free and 100 Backstroke as Miachael Marker took the 100 Butterfly and Isaac Pace the 100 Breaststroke.

Heil, Marker, Pace and Cole Seefeldt also combined to win the 200 Medley Relay.

In the girls meet for Medina Hannah Heil was a double winner in the 50 Free and 100 Free.

Heil also teamed up with Emma Schwarzott, Grace Cook and Amanda Woodruff to win the 400 Free Relay.
