Albion boys splash to fourth victory
Staying perfect at 4-0, Albion defeated visiting Akron 61-33 this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League boys swim meet.
Carlitos Sanchez was a double winner in the 200 Free and 100 Free for Albion as Matt Kovaleski took the 200 Individual Medley, Sam Sanchez the 50 Free, Tyler Kast the 100 Butterfly and Thomas Furmanski the 100 Backstroke.
Carlitos and Sam Sanchez also teamed up with Kovaleski and Harrison Brown to win both the 200 Free and 400 Free relays setting a new school record in the 200.
Furmanski , Kovaleski, Kast and Sam Sanchez also combined to win the 200 Medley Relay.
Taking first place in all 11 events, Akron downed Albion 81-13 in the girls meet to improve to 4-0.
