Jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the first half, Albion went on to defeat Kendall 4-2 this morning in a non league boys soccer game.

The Purple Eagles took the opening half lead as Spencer Lombard scored off an assist from Nate Scanlan and then Kendyll Hadick tallied from Thomas Hollenbeck.

Kendall did cut the deficit to 2-1 midway through the second half on an own goal but Albion got that one right back when Scanlan scored with 11:58 remaining.

However, Kendall made the finish exciting as Nate Warters tallied with 5:45 remaining to cut the Eagles deficit to 3-2.

The Purple Eagles though finally put a lock on the win when Hildreth scored with just 18 seconds remaining.

Albion is now 4-3 and Kendall 0-5.

Kendall’s Hayden VanDusen looks to go up field as Alex Gibson defends for Albion.
