Albion blanks Roy-Hart in N-O girls soccer

Albion improved to 3-2-1 in Niagara-Orleans girls soccer competition with a 2-0 victory over Roy-Hart this evening at Gasport.

Brylie Hapeman scored both goals for the Purple Eagles off assists from Elisabeth Baker and Catherine Wolck.

Sydney Mulka earned the shutout in goal.

The loss drops Roy-Hart to 1-4.

Wilson 9, Barker 0
Skyler Munnikhuysen had 2 goals and Emily Kelly, Madelyn Austin and Lilly O’Lay each had a goal and an assist to lead Wilson (4-2) past Barker (0-5).

Boys Soccer

Byron-Bergen 3, Albion 0

Leading by a narrow 1-0 margin, Byron-Bergen pulled away for a 3-0 non league win over host Albion this evening on a pair of early second half goals by Tyler Chambry and Wade Thompson.

Thompson also netted what proved to be the game winning goal for the Bees with three minutes to go in the first half.
