Albion blanks Kendall in U15 soccer

Improving to 6-4-1, Albion bested visiting Kendall 5-0 Monday evening in a Rochester District Youth Soccer League girls U15 Division game.

Albion jumped out to a 2-0 half-time lead on a pair of goals by Jamie Penna.

Two goals in the second half by Olivia Bieber and one by Stella Poler then put a firm lock on the victory.

Bailey Gonzalez earned the shutout in goal.

Albion next hosts Scottsville at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to close out the season.

In a Buffalo and Western New York Soccer League girls U14 Division contest Amherst defeated the Medina/Roy-Hart Lady Rams 3-0.
