Albion and Roy-Hart score N-O softball wins

Albion blanked host Medina 16-0 and Roy-Hart downed Akron 11-8 in Niagara-Orleans League softball action this afternoon.
Alana Irvine hurled a one hitter with 6 strikeouts for Albion which improves to 6-4 in N-O competition.
Irvine and Cami London both had a pair of hits, including a double, to highlight the Purple Eagles offense.
Hayley Hillburn had 3 hits including a double and triple and Brooke Corser 3 including a triple, to lead the offense for Roy-Hart as Kaitlyn Mettler also had 2 hits, Abby Fox a two-run double and Savanna Holt a double.
Front running Roy-Hart is now 9-1.
