Albion and Medina swimmers score sweeps: Roy-Hart boys claim N-O title outright

Medina scored a sweep over Newfane and Albion bested Barker this afternoon in Niagara-Orleans League “virtual” swim meets.

The Medina boys improved to 7-2 by downing Newfane 105-60 as Cole Seefeldt won the 200 Freestyle, Isaac Pace the 200 Individual Medley, Xander Payne the 100 Free and Austin Tompkins the 100 Breaststroke.

Eli Thompson doubled in the 50 Free and 100 Backstroke for Newfane which slips to 1-8.

The Medina girls completed the sweep by defeating Newfane 87-79 to improve to 5-4.

Brooklynn Brown doubled in the IM and 100 Butterfly and Madelynn Satkowski won the 100 Free for the Seahorses.

Bridget Martin was a double winner in the 200 Free and 500 Free for Newfane which is now 3-6.

The Albion boys improved to 3-4 by downing Barker 107-49 as Jacob Foote won the 200 Free, Dallas Ecker the Butterfly, Finn McCue the 100 Free and Josh DePoty the 500 Free.

Ryan Santarsiero doubled in the IM and Breaststroke and Ryan Stevener in the 50 Free and Backstroke for Barker which is now 1-9.

The Roy-Hart boys locked up outright possession of a second straight N-O title by downing Barker 114-41 to stay undefeated at 9-0.

Carter Green was a double winner in the 50 Free and 100 Free for the Channel Cats as Jacob Hagen took the 200 Free, Nicolas Saia the Butterfly and Sean Labiak the 500 Free.

Santarsiero doubled in the IM and Breaststroke and Stevener took the Backstroke for Barker.

The Roy-Hart girls improved to 7-2 by besting Barker 91-37.

Amanda Hill doubled in the 500 Free and Breaststroke and Alexis Seib in the IM and 100 Free for the Channel Cats as Nadia White took the 50 Free and Raychel Dunker the Butterfly.

Natalie Bruning was a double winner for Barker in the 200 Free and Backstroke.

The Akron girls completed a 10-0 title season by downing Albion 128-32 as CC Morey doubled in the Butterfly and 500 Free and Mayah Harris in the IM and Breaststroke.

The Akron boys completed the sweep by downing Albion 91-78 as Zander Borton doubled in the 200 Free and 500 Free and Aiden Polkowski in the IM and 100 Free.

Finn McCue won the 50 Free, Dallas Ecker the Butterfly and Jacob Coolbaugh the Breaststroke for Albion.
