Albion and Medina spikers scrimmage
Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Tuning up for the upcoming Niagara-Orleans League season, Albion hosted Medina this afternoon in a volleyball scrimmage. At left, Medina’s Anya Bloom makes a spike and at right Albion’s Rylee Pearles sets the ball with Honesty Little at her left. Both teams will open N-O competition on April 8 with Albion hosting Roy-Hart and Medina visiting Newfane. The N-O season begins this Thursday with Wilson at Roy-Hart and Newfane at defending champion Akron. Medina will continue tuning up for the N-O season by visiting Lyndonville Tuesday for a non league match.
