Albion and Barker will open Section VI softball playoffs at home on Wednesday
Seeded No. 7, Albion will host No. 10 Springville at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the opening round of the Section VI Class B1 playoffs. The victor will visit No. 2 Olean at 5 p.m. Thursday.
In Class C, No. 5 Barker will host No. 12 Holland at 5 p.m. Wednesday. The victor will face the winner of the No. 13 Tapestry vs. No. 4 Randolph game at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Also in Class C, No. 7 Wilson will host No. 10 Salamanca at 5 p.m. Wednesday with the victor visiting No. 2 Portville at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Medina, which is seeded No. 9 in Class B2, will visit No. 8 Cleveland Hill at 5 p.m. Wednesday. The winner will visit top seeded Eden at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Also in Class B2 at 5 p.m. Wednesday No. 7 Akron hosts No. 10 Southwestern with the winner visiting No. 2 Fredonia at 5 p.m. Thursday. Also No. 12 Newfane visits No. 5 Olmsted with the victor visiting No. 4 Alden on Thursday.
Niagara-Orleans League champion Roy-Hart, which is seeded No. 3 in Class B2, will host the winner of Wednesday’s No. 11 Allegany-Limestone vs. No. 6 JFK game on Thursday at 5 p.m.
