Albion, Akron cagers are snowed out
This afternoon’s heavy burst of snow has caused the cancellation of this evening’s scheduled Albion vs. Akron boys and girls Niagara-Orleans League basketball games.
Akron was scheduled to host the girls game at 4:45 p.m. and Albion was to host the boys contest at 6 p.m. in what are the final N-O games of the season to be played.
Albion Athletic Director Randy Knaak stated that the games may be rescheduled at a later date.
The Albion boys and girls teams are both 6-7 in N-O action while the Akron boys are 0-13 and the girls 2-11.
