Albion ‘9’ tops Lyndonville

Back-to-back early inning scoring bursts powered Albion to a 13-3 victory over host Lyndonville this afternoon in a non league baseball game.

Albion erupted for 6 runs in the second inning as Austin Dugan, Isaiah Callicutt and Michael DiCurea all had hits.

The Purple Eagles quickly tacked on 5 more runs in the top of the third inning to balloon the lead to 11-1.  A three-run double by Thomas Furmanski highlighted that uprising which also included a double by Harrison Brown.

DiCureia, Liam Ward, Bryce Pritchard and Vinnie Zona each finished with a pair of hits for Albion.

Nate Fearby picked up the win on the mound for the Purple Eagles allowing 3 hits and striking out 12.

Oskar Heinsler drove in a pair of runs for Lyndonville in the third inning.

Holley 17, Alexander 9
Holley bested host Alexander 17-9 in a Genesee Region League game as Brandon Dillenbeck and Matt Skehan both had 3 hits, Mike Passarell 2, including a double, and Patrick Bower 3 RBIs.

Roy-Hart 16, North Tonawanda 4

Al Xapsos had a double and triple and Jake Bruning and Ben Schwab both banged out doubles to lead Roy-Hart to a 16-4 non league win over visiting North Tonawanda under the lights at Gasport tonight.
