Albion 18U bows in playoff semifinals
One bad inning proved costly as the Albion 18U baseball team dropped a 7-4 decision to host Dansville Tuesday evening in the semifinals of the GLOW League playoffs.
The Purple Eagles built up a 3-2 lead by scoring once in the third as Nate Gibson doubled and came home on an error and twice in the fourth on a two-run single by Kaiden Froman.
However, Dansville answered with 5 runs in the home half of the fourth on 4 walks and a pair of errors to take the lead for good.
Gibson and Froman both had 2 hits on the evening.
