Albion 15U squad drops diamond twin bill
Slipping out of first place, the Albion 15U squad dropped a doubleheader in GLOW League baseball action today at Williams Park in Batavia.
Albion first lost 12-3 to Batavia and then 13-6 to GLOW to slip to 4-3-1 on the season.
Batavia scored three quick runs in the first inning and four more in the second to key the opening game win.
Bryce Wilson had two hits in the game for Albion.
GLOW then scored in every inning to complete the sweep.
Cade Wolcott and Javon Jones both had a pair of hits for Albion. Wolcott’s hits included an RBI double in the first inning.
Albion next faces Elba at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Williams Park.
