Albion 15U bounces back with diamond win
Rebounding from a doubleheader loss on Saturday, the Albion 15U team bested Elba 15-10 Monday evening in a GLOW League baseball game at Williams Park in Batavia.
Albion got off to a fast start scoring four times in both the first and second innings. Javon Jones had a key double in the first inning as did Jacob Hughson in the second.
Hughson and Jones also both had hits to help key a three run third inning which provided what proved to be the winning run.
Jones and Hughson both finished with three hits as Finn McCue, Cade Wolcott and Mason Bennett also contributed hits.
Now at 5-3-1, Albion next faces GLOW at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Williams Park.
