Akron tops Medina in D Div. lacrosse game
Jumping out to an 8-0 first quarter lead, Akron went on to defeat visiting Medina 19-5 in a Class D Division lacrosse game this afternoon.
The Tigers went on to lead by margins of 11-1 at the half and 15-3 after three quarters.
Cole Callard had 2 goals and 2 assists for Medina as Jake Dunn, Cam Kenward and Austin Seefeldt also each had a goal.
Now at 3-4 in the division and 4-6 overall, Medina next visits Wilson at 6 p.m. Friday.
