Akron tops Albion in N-O season opener
Roaring out to a 30 point half-time advantage, defending co-champion Akron went on to down visiting Albion 69-38 this evening in the Niagara-Orleans League boys basketball season opener for both teams.
Ben Gerstung scored 18, Brayden Lamont 13, Blake Gerstung 12 and Derren Brooks 10 for Akron which made 12 three’s on the evening and led 42-12 at the half.
Wesley Olles scored 14 and Kyle Radder 9 for Albion.

Notre Dame bested host Roy-Hart 56-49 in a non league contest as Makyell Walker scored 18 and TJ Cephus Jr. 16..
