Akron stickmen post win over Medina
Jumping out to a 7-1 first quarter lead, Akron went on to defeat Medina 17-7 in a Class D Division lacrosse game at Vets Park this afternoon.
Braley Abrams scored 5 goals and Nicholas Fry 4 to spark Akron which led 9-3 at the half and 16-5 after three quarters.
Cayden Lilleby scored 3 goals, Dylan Lonnen 2 and Cole Callard and Ollie Wilson 1 each for Medina.
Akron improves to 8-1 in the division while Medina is 3-3, 5-4 overall.
The Mustangs next host Tonawanda at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
