Akron netters top Albion clinching tie for title

Undefeated (8-0) Akron clinched at least a tie for the Niagara-Orleans League tennis title by downing Albion 5-0 this afternoon.

In another N-O contest, Wilson used a sweep of the singles matches to earn a 3-2 win over Barker.

In a Genesee Region League match, Alexander downed Holley 4-1.

Kendall 199, Notre Dame 224

Improving to 6-2, Kendall defeated Notre Dame 199-224 in a G-R golf match.

Riley Robinson shot 44 and Llly Tobin 47 for the Eagles.


North Tonawanda 51, Medina 18

Dominic Callara had a pin of 1:21 for Medina in the Mustangs 51-18 loss to North Tonawanda. The Mustangs other 12 points came via two forfeit wins.
