Akron girls set pace at All-League swim meet
Host Akron captured first place honors in 6 of 11 events at the annual Niagara-Orleans All-League girls swim meet this evening.
Audrey Garverick was a double winner in the 200 Individual Medley (2:38.21) and 500 Freestyle (6:12.13) and Mayah Harris took both the 100 Butterfly (1:09.78) and 100 Breaststroke (1:14.29) to lead the way for Akron.
Garverick and Harris also teamed up with Kaila Szczygielski and Megan Gates to win both the 200 Medley Relay (2:09.59) and the 200 Freestyle Relay (1:54.23).
Julia Miles was a double winner for Roy-Hart/Barker/Lyndonville in the 50 Free (:27.48) and 100 Free (1:00.48).
Medina’s Maddy Satkowski won the 200 Free (2:21.04) and Newfane’s Lauren Enderton took the 100 Backstroke (1:14.87).
Albion won the 400 Freestyle Relay in 4:14.85 with the foursome of Keira Sidari, Maggie Olles, Mia Olles and Willow Gaines.
