Akron downs Medina stickmen

Frontrunning Akron bested Medina 18-8 at Vets Park this evening to stay perfect at 9-0 in Class C Division lacrosse action.
Jake Abrams scored 6 goals and Owen Hill 4 for Akron which led 6-2 after one quarter, 10-4 at the half and 17-5 at the three-quarter mark.
Jake Cotter scored 3 goals, Mason Lewis and Brendan Luthart 2 each and Coby Albone 1 for Medina which is now 4-7 in division action.
The Mustangs next visit Salamanca on Friday.
