Akron, Barker post field hockey shutout wins
Akron blanked Roy-Hart 6-0 and Barker shutout Kenmore 7-0 in Niagara-Orleans League field hockey games this afternoon.
Olivia McClaine scored 3 goals as Madison Brege, Lacey Berghorn and Sophia Jones each netted 1 for Akron which improves to 3-0.
Alexa Zglinicki and Rachel Sutter both scored 2 goals and Mia Herman, Alexis Weeks and Mya Goodale each added 1 for Barker which is now 4-1.
