Akron, Barker golfers post N-O wins
Undefeated Akron downed runner-up Newfane 222-241 and Barker bested Roy-Hart 230-277 in Niagara-Orleans League golf matches this afternoon.
Drew Romesser, Sly Sundown and Trace Hill all shot 44 to share medalist honors for Akron which improves to 11-0.
Collin Irwin shot 45 for Newfane which is 9-2.
Joel Harris took medalist honors for Barker with a 2 under par round of 35. Charlie LaGreca and Luke DeSarkissian both added 40’s for the Raiders which improve to 7-4.
Isaac Smith led Roy-Hart with a 46.
Boys Soccer
Attica/Alexander downed Kendall 4-1 and Wheatland-Chili topped visiting Lyndonville 5-0 in Genesee Region League games and Mt. Morris edged Holley 2-1 in a non league contest.
Wilson (3-2-1) blanked rival Newfane (0-7) 2-0 in an N-O contest on goals by Keegan Herrmann and Logan Wolfe.

Wilson improved to 6-0 in N-O competition with a 4-1 win over rival Newfane which slips to 2-3.
