Akron downed No. 4 Barker 2-0 on the blue turf field at Alden and Medina edged No. 2 Eden 2-1 at Eden.

Morgan Tomporowski scored what proved to be the game winning goal for Akron with 6 minutes to go in the second quarter off a corner opportunity as Kayla Cebulski earned the assist.

The Lady Tigers finally put a lock on the victory when Julia Klodzinski scored with just 2:18 remaining in the final quarter off an assist from Olivia McClaine.

Goals by Sophia Castricone at the 11 minute mark of the third quarter off an assist from Baileigh McAdoo, and by Penelope Schalck with 3 minutes to go in the final period, provided the margin of victory for Medina in a contest which was deadlocked 0-0 at the half.
