About 1,000 without power in Orleans

The powerful winds have knocked out power for 823 National Grid customers in Orleans County, the power company is reporting.

The outages are scattered around the county, and the National Grid is reporting they should all be restored by 12:15 p.m. today.

There are 105,164 Grid customers in upstate without electricity, as of 8:30 this morning. Close to Orleans, that includes 323 in Genesee County, 28,519 in Erie County, 4,139 in Niagara County and 98 in Monroe.
