‘A’ Division softball playoffs are Saturday
The Medina Women’s Softball League ‘A’ Division will hold its playoffs on Saturday at the Jr. Wilson fields.
The action is scheduled to get underway at 8 a.m. with a make-up game between Banes (8-3) and Jr. Wilson (6-5) to determine the No. 1 seed.
Banes will earn the top seed with a win. However, a Banes loss will give White Birch (8-4) the top seed by virtue of winning the regular season series between the two teams.
The opening round of the double elimination playoffs is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. with the top seed facing Poler’s Pub (3-9) and the No. 2 seed taking on Jr. Wilson.
The winners bracket final is slated for 10:30 a.m., the losers bracket final for 11:45 a.m. and the championship game at 1 p.m. If necessary a second final round game will be played at 2:15 p.m.
