A busy weekend with plenty of highlights in high school sports

Holley quarterback #5 Jeremy Mallett jumps into the arms of his teammates after scoring Holley’s second touchdown in Saturday’s victory.
Holley won its season-opener, 18-6, vs. Nichols of Buffalo. Holley was behind in the game, and came back for the win. Orleans Hub has photos and a game summary on Local Sports (click here).
The Hub also has coverage of the Holley soccer tournament. Outside that tournament, the Kendall girls won their season-opener against Attica in the Genesee-Region League. Kendall has won the Division I title in soccer the last three years for the G-R.
