Barker sweeps Medina in N-O track opener
Barker opened the Niagara-Orleans League track season with a sweep over visiting Medina this afternoon. The Raiders won the boys’ meet 83-58 and the girls’ competition 79-61.
The Barker girls were led by a quartet of individual event double winners as Serena Harris took the 3000 and the 400 Hurdles, Madison Gancasz the 100 and Pole Vault, Katrina Clare the 200 and 400 and Shelby Ewald the Shotput and Discus.
Josh Weakland was a double winner for the Barker boys in the 100 and 110 Hurdles.
Caelin Holland was a double winner for Medina in the 800 and 1600.
