Rochester Press-Radio Club honors Grillo
Contributed Photos – John Grillo, who retired as the Holley-Kendall wrestling coach at the end of this past season was honored at the 70th annual Rochester-Press Day of Champions dinner on Wednesday. Grillo, who coached for 44 years, received the Charlie Wagner Award for his contributions to local sports. During his coaching tenure, the Holley wrestling team earned 22 Genesee Region League and 12 Section V titles. He is shown here with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes who received the Sports Personality of the Year Award.
