Medina grad has big day for NCCC softball
Medina High graduate Alisha Scroger had a big day at the plate for the Niagara Community College softball team which swept a doubleheader from host Allegany College of Maryland today by scores of 18-2 and 14-0 to improve to 6-6 on the season.
Scroger, a freshman at NCCC, had a home run, double, 3 RBIs, 3 runs scored and 2 stolen bases in the opener.
Hitting over .400 for the season to date, Scroger then had 2 hits, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored in the second game.
The Thunerwolves next play a doubleheader on Saturday at Community College Baltimore County Catonsville.
