Albion holds Signing Day for trio of college bound student/athletes

Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Albion senior Brylie Hapeman has signed a Letter of Intent to continue her education and her soccer career at SUNY College at Brockport. Seated with her at the signing are her mother Barbie Hapeman and her sister Kenzi Hapeman. In back are coaches John King and Paul Zappatella, her brother Kyler Hapeman, her father Tim Hapeman and coach Maggie Orbaker. Brylie, who helped lead Albion to the Niagara-Orleans League soccer title last fall earning first team All-League honors, will major in Early Childhood Education. She also plays basketball and softball for the Purple Eagles.

Albion senior Ugene Harrison has singed a Letter of Intent to continue his education and his football career at Alfred University. Shown seated with him at the signing are Albion head football Coach Adam Krenning and his father Mike Harrison. Ugene, who will be majoring in Health and Fitness, helped lead Albion to the Class B2 Division football championship this past fall earning first team B2 Division All-Star honors. He also runs track for the Purple Eagles.

Albion senior Matthew Kovaleski has signed a Letter of Intent to continue his education and his swimming career at Nazareth College. Seated with him at the signing are his parents, Jay and Kelly Kovaleski. In back is Albion swim Coach Carlos Burroughs. Matthew, who helped lead Albion to both N-O League and Section VI Class C championships this past season, will major in Physical Therapy. He also plays football and tennis. He helped lead the Purple Eagles to the B2 Division football title last fall earning first team B2 Divison All-Star honors..
